Her Version
It was through a mutual friend, just one of those random, beautiful and boring days. I was called and requested to meet up. I never knew I was about to meet my husband. From afar approaching me, I saw a very calm, collected and a very humble man in a blue tracksuit. He approached me and greeted in a very "deep" Shona slang saying "Wadii"?, I smiled and replied back. By That time I was sitting in the car. I decided to go outside the car and the guy ran to open the door for me, mmmh "what a gentleman". The same evening, he texted me. How he got my numbers, only God knows 😂. he requested me to join him the following day for either breakfast or "biko" meaning Braai. I refused. To cut the story short.. I finally agreed to join him for a Braai, provided there will be many people. To my surprise, the Braai was just for 2 people and the 3rd person never showed up. The first thing he said to me that day, I qoute " Ndeip Charity, unondidhomotsa. Ndoda kutokukanda Pa kitchen". That was the beginning of our journey. He remained my best friend, my love, my pillar of strength, my joy, my yonke into and my forever.

His Version
Through a mutual friend is when our lifetime journey began. At a very confusing moment in time is when l set eyes on the love of my life. It began not like any other love story, my worst days were the best days of my life ever since setting course on this fulfilling journey. Without hesitation, l had to let her know of my motives and what outcome l wanted, l knew she was the one, since l set eyes on her, l remember her, blushing, glowing and exuded a calm, respectful and kind energy . What seemed like a joke, "iwewe ndikuda kukukanda pakitchen", as she laughed and agrees to be the love of my life as it was a joke, was a declaration of my endless love and admiration of such a wonderful, beautiful and strong woman she is. With God's grace and guidance today l share this story and is the beginning of our life journey.
